BCCI Announces Indian Cricket Team's Upcoming Bilateral Series Plan

Franchise cricket fills April and May because PSL 2026 just finished and IPL 2026 continues its matches. The Indian T20 league will complete its season on May 31 which will cause people to focus on international cricket because Team India has multiple upcoming matches. The India A men’s team and the women’s side and the Under-19 squads will resume their activities after the IPL. The BCCI revealed crucial match schedules and stadium locations for these teams on Wednesday.

 

The BCCI announced match schedules and stadium locations for future series which will feature India Senior Women, India A men and women, and India U19 men and women teams.

 

The India A team has scheduled multiple matches for their home season which includes upcoming games with Australia A teams both men and women and England A Women and Zimbabwe Women and Australia U19 Men and England U19 Women and Sri Lanka Women U19.

The senior women's cricket team from Zimbabwe will visit India in October 2026 to compete in a white-ball multi-format series. The T20I matches will occur in Raipur while the ODI matches will take place in Baroda. India will enter the series after the Women's T20 World Cup but they might choose to rest certain senior players during their upcoming home white-ball matches.

 

The touring Australian teams will present a difficult test to both India A and Under-19 teams. The Australian team brings multiple skilled athletes which makes their performance challenging to handle. The India A series against Australia will begin in late September and end on October 11. The teams will first play two multi-day matches in Puducherry before moving to ODIs at the same venue.

The Under-19 team will compete against Australia just like the A team does. The first three ODIs will take place in September followed by two multi-day matches in Rajkot and Ahmedabad. The India A women's team and Under-19 squads will compete at home because their match schedules have been confirmed. 

 

The Women's Under-19 squad will first host Sri Lanka in June. The T20 matches will be played first, followed by the ODI series. The T20 matches will take place in Chennai while the ODIs will be held in Puducherry.  The India Women's A team will compete against Australia and England at home with their Australia series starting in September and their England tour commencing in November.
