Tata Motors have been working on the electric version of the Sierra for quite some time. The Sierra was launched last year, and the official deliveries for the same started in January this year. We knew that the ICE version would be followed by an EV, and it looks like Tata is almost ready with the Sierra EV. We recently came across a new set of Sierra EV spy pics where we get a glimpse of the cabin of this upcoming EV.
The images have been shared by a user on Reddit. In the pictures, we see two Sierra EVs parked next to each other in a parking lot. Both SUVs have heavy camouflage over them and Sierra ICE-like alloy wheels too.
The front of the electric SUV gets a connecting LED bar, dual-function LED DRLs, and sleek-looking LED headlamps like the regular Sierra. However, the front grille on this is completely closed, and there is only a lower air dam to maintain the motor temperature. It looks like the EV would also come with vertically stacked fog lamps on the bumper, which would also act as cornering lamps.
The side profile of the SUV looks exactly like the regular Sierra, and we expect to see gloss black claddings, flush-fitting door handles, massive ORVMs with integrated turn indicators, a 360-degree camera, and more. Just like the ICE version, the EV is also expected to come with Level 2 ADAS and other safety features.
At the rear, the Sierra EV gets a sleek LED connecting bar along with LED tail lamps and turn indicators. There is a roof-integrated spoiler, and we also see the rear defogger, while the rear windscreen wiper is tucked under the spoiler.

What makes these images special are the cabin shots. In these pictures, we see a large touchscreen infotainment system. It is probably a 12.3-inch unit, the same as the one seen on the Sierra. However, it looks like the test mule seen here is a lower variant. It doesn’t look like the SUV seen here gets the triple-screen setup.
In the ICE version too, the Accomplished+ variant gets the 12.3-inch third screen. We also get a glimpse of the driver display. The theme of the screen looks similar to what we have seen on other Tata models. It looks like both the EVs were being charged, and they had about 258 km of range. The 360-degree camera and the quality of the screen are also visible in the image.

The design of the AC vents looks the same, but we are assuming that Tata will come with a revised centre console for the Sierra EV, where it might get a layered console with a drive selector, electric parking brake, and even the drive modes button on it.
It should be noted that unlike the ICE version, the Sierra EV will be launched with QWD or AWD from day one. It is expected to be powered by the same 65 kWh and 75 kWh battery packs as the Harrier EV. We expect to see a similar claimed driving range as well. The Sierra EV will sit between the Harrier EV and the Nexon EV. The launch of the Sierra EV is expected to happen in the second quarter of 2026.
