Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Mohan Yadav conducted a surprise inspection of the wheat procurement center located at Nagjhiri, Ujjain. During this, he took stock of the arrangements and gave necessary instructions to the officials. To provide relief to the farmers, it was decided to increase the capacity of the warehouse, so that the grains can be kept safe during unseasonal rains.
Bhopal. 'I can land a helicopter anywhere and do a surprise inspection of a wheat procurement centre...' Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav, who said this a few days ago, reached Adani Agro Silo Procurement Center located in Nagjhiri of Datana, a service cooperative organization of Ujjain, on May 5. He inspected the center here. He also gave necessary instructions regarding facilities to the officials. Apart from this, he also decided to increase the capacity of the warehouse. By increasing the capacity of the warehouse, wheat will be protected from unseasonal rains. Earlier, CM Dr Yadav had also made a surprise visit to Shajapur and Khargone for wheat procurement.
CM reached procurement center directly by helicopter
Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav said that I have come here to the wheat procurement centre. We have earlier announced that the date for slot booking for wheat procurement has been extended in the entire state. Wheat procurement is going on continuously. I have been told that our procurement has been smooth and normal everywhere, but still we have expressed our sentiments with the farmers by making surprise visits. He said that information is being received that now payments are being made at regular intervals within seven days. Meanwhile, the work of transportation of goods of people is also going on. In such a situation, the weighing scales have also been increased. The government has also increased facilities.
Big action on 'Kisan Kalyan Varsh'
Farmers should get all the facilities. Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav said that I was told that if the capacity inside the warehouse is increased, then there will be a lot of benefit in the rainy season. Today we have also issued orders to increase the capacity of the warehouse. Farmers should not face any kind of problem. Under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, our government is celebrating this year as Farmer Welfare Year. Our effort is to provide all types of facilities to the farmers. He said that as per my knowledge till yesterday the government has procured 41 lakh metric tonnes of wheat. We can further increase our capacity.
