Chennai. After the spectacular victory in Tamil Nadu Assembly elections, the stir in the politics of the state has intensified. The newly elected MLAs of actor-turned-politician C. Joseph Vijay’s party Tamilaga Vetri Kazhagam (TVK) have expressed gratitude to the public. After the victory, top party leaders and MLAs have gathered in Chennai, where an important meeting is going on at the headquarters in Panayur on the new government and future strategy.

Party leaders have clearly said that they are committed to fulfilling every promise made to the public. Due to the gathering of a large number of MLAs, tight security arrangements have been made outside the headquarters. Heavy police force is deployed and the crowd is being controlled through barricades.

MLAs said ‘historic victory’-
VK won from Anna Nagar. Ramkumar described this victory as historic for Tamil Nadu and dedicated it to the people. Abhishek R was victorious from Polur. Said that his entire focus is currently on the internal meetings of the party and further action plan.

Sharp attack on opposition on corruption-
R.V., who won from Kanchipuram. Ranjit Kumar made serious allegations against the previous governments. He said that the state has had corrupt governance for a long time and the debt has increased by about Rs 5 lakh crore in the last five years. According to him, only a few special people benefited from this corruption, while the burden on the general public increased.

Trust in the leadership of ‘Thalapati Vijay’-
Ranjit Kumar said that the public reposed faith in the promise made by ‘Thalapati’ Vijay to end corruption and led to a historic victory. He presented it in 1977 to M.G. Described as the second major political revolution after Ramachandran.

He also said that TVK is ready to work together with the central government. He also told that Prime Minister Narendra Modi has congratulated the party, which has further increased the enthusiasm of the workers.
