CSK vs MI LIVE Updates, IPL 2026: Chennai Super Kngs (CSK) have made a fast start but have lost two wickets in their chase of 160 against Mumbai Indians (MI) in their must-win IPL 2026 clash in Chennai on Saturday.
CSK have reached 97/2 after 11 overs, with captain Ruturaj Gaikwad and Kartik Sharma at the crease. Earlier, CSK put up an impressive bowling performance to restrict MI to 159/7 in 20 overs. MI captain Hardik Pandya won the toss and opted to bat, but his struggles mirrored his team's problems. Anshul Kamboj took three wickets and Noor Ahmad scalped two, as CSK choked MI in the middle overs. CSK debutant Ramakrishna Ghosh dismissed Suryakumar Yadav to take his first IPL wicket. Naman Dhir's half-century was the only innings of note for MI. CSK and MI sit seventh and ninth in the points table respectively, and need a victory to keep their playoff hopes intact.
