Important Update on CGPSC Mains Exam 2025: Exciting news has surfaced for candidates gearing up for the Chhattisgarh Public Service Commission (CGPSC) exams, as the examination dates have been postponed. This change is seen as a significant relief for those preparing, granting them extra time for their studies. Initially set for May, the exam will now occur in June 2026. This decision was made by Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai to benefit the students.
The CGPSC examination was originally planned for May 16, 17, 18, and 19, 2026, but has now been moved to June 6, 7, 8, and 9, 2026. The Commission has confirmed that the Mains examination will take place at various centers throughout the state, including Ambikapur, Bilaspur, Bhilai, and Raipur.
According to the newly released schedule, the exam will span four days and will be conducted in two shifts. The first shift is from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM, while the second shift will run from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM. The first day will focus on Language and Essay Writing, followed by various General Studies papers on the subsequent days.
How to Obtain Admit Cards:
Admit cards will be available for download approximately ten days prior to the examination. Candidates can access them directly from the official website of the Commission: www.psc.cg.gov.in. It is important to note that the Commission will not send individual admit cards or notifications via SMS.
This change in schedule allows candidates more time to enhance their preparation strategies and revise their syllabus effectively. Candidates are encouraged to frequently check the Commission's website for any updates regarding the admit cards.
