IPL Points Table 2026 Updated After RR vs DC: Delhi Capitals moved to the sixth position in the IPL 2026 points table after defeating Rajasthan Royals by 7 wickets at the Sawai Mansingh Stadium in Jaipur on May 1. Batting first, RR posted 225/6 in 20 overs.

They got off to a horrific start as Mitchell Starc removed Yashasvi Jaiswal for six runs in the first over, while Kyle Jamieson dismissed Vaibhav Sooryavanshi for 4 in the next. RR captain Riyan Parag batted well and scored 90 runs off 50 balls with the help of eight boundaries and five maximums.

He stitched a 102-run partnership for the third wicket with Dhruv Jurel, who also scored 42 runs. After Jurel’s dismissal, Parag forged another crucial partnership with Ravindra Jadeja. Donovan Ferreira played a blistering knock in the death over and smashed an unbeaten 47 runs off 14 balls to help RR set a 226-run target for DC.

In reply, DC got off to a great start as KL Rahul and Pathum Nissanka added 110 runs for the first wicket. Jadeja removed Nissanka for 62 in the 10th over. But Rahul looked in brilliant touch and stitched a 61-run partnership for the second wicket with Nitish Rana.

Tushar Deshpande dismissed Nitish Rana for 33 runs in the 15th over, while Jofra Archer removed Rahul for 75 in the next over. Tristan Stubbs forged a match-winning 49-run partnership with Ashutosh Sharma to help DC chase down the target in 19.1 overs.

DC opener KL Rahul is at the top of the Orange Cap list with 433 runs in nine matches. SRH batter Abhishek Sharma is in second position with 425 runs in 9 matches, while his teammate Heinrich Klaasen is in third spot with 414 runs.

RCB fast bowler Bhuvneshwar Kumar is at the top of the Purple Cap list with 17 wickets in 9 matches. RR pacer Jofra Archer is in second spot with 15 wickets in 10 matches at an economy rate of 8.62, while SRH’s Eshan Malinga is in third position with scalps.
