During the Indian Premier League 2026 on Thursday, Bhuvneshwar Kumar, a fast bowler for Royal Challengers Bangalore, made history by dismissing Sai Sudharsan of Gujarat Titans. He became the first Indian fast bowler to take 350 wickets in T20 cricket, marking a significant milestone. He is only the second Indian to reach this landmark, following Yuzvendra Chahal, who holds the record for the most wickets in T20s.



Chahal has achieved 391 wickets in 337 matches, while Bhuvneshwar reached the 350 mark in his 325th match. Jasprit Bumrah follows closely with 347 wickets in 278 matches. In the match against Gujarat Titans, Bhuvneshwar took 3 wickets for 28 runs in 4 overs, dismissing not only Sudharsan but also Shubman Gill and Jos Buttler, solidifying his position at the top of the Purple Cap standings with 17 wickets.
