When most children are busy discovering their favourite cartoons, one young girl stepped into the entertainment world and began building a career that would shape her future. Starting at just nine years old, she quickly impressed audiences with her confidence and natural screen presence. Over the years, she has grown from a child artist into one of the most popular faces on Indian television and social media.
That young star is Jannat Zubair. Today, at the age of 24, she is not just an actress but also a digital sensation with over 51.9 million followers on Instagram. To put that into perspective, even Rashmika Mandanna has around 51.6 million followers, making Jannat’s reach even more impressive.
Jannat made her Bollywood debut with the 2011 film Luv Ka The End, a romantic comedy-drama. In the film, she played Minty, the younger sister of Shraddha Kapoor’s character Riya. Interestingly, this film was also one of Shraddha Kapoor’s early appearances after her debut in Teen Patti. The cast also included Sreejita De, who later became widely known through reality television.

Despite its promising cast, Luv Ka The End did not perform well at the box office. According to reports, the film earned around Rs 5.88 crore in India during its lifetime. It opened with approximately Rs 0.60 crore on its first day and collected Rs 4.28 crore in its first week.
Looking back at her early days, Jannat has often spoken warmly about her experience on set. In an interview, she shared how Shraddha Kapoor took great care of her during the shoot. Even after many years, their bond remains strong, showing how meaningful those early experiences were in her journey.
As a child artist, Jannat became a familiar face in Indian households through popular television shows like Phulwa, Kashi – Ab Na Rahe Tera Kagaz Kora, and Best of Luck Nikki. Her expressive acting and emotional depth stood out, even at such a young age, helping her connect with audiences across the country.

With more than a decade in the industry, she continued to explore different kinds of roles. She appeared in shows like Matti Ki Banno, Fear Files: Darr Ki Sacchi Tasvirein, Code Red, Stories by Rabindranath Tagore, and Aap Ke Aa Jane Se. These projects highlighted her versatility and ability to adapt to different genres.
Jannat also stepped into the world of reality television. She participated in Fear Factor: Khatron Ke Khiladi 12 and later appeared in The Traitors India, hosted by Karan Johar. In the show, she finished in eighth place and received praise for her performance and strategy.

Beyond acting, Jannat has built a strong presence through music videos and social media. Her fashion choices, dance videos and relatable content have made her especially popular among young audiences. Most recently, she has been entertaining viewers on the Colors TV reality show Laughter Chefs. The show, inspired by the Tamil hit Cooku With Comali, combines cooking challenges with comedy, allowing celebrities to showcase both their culinary and fun sides.
From a child artist to a social media powerhouse, Jannat Zubair’s journey reflects consistency, growth and a strong connection with her audience.
