BJP leads in West Bengal exit polls, all eyes on power struggle

It is necessary to cross the figure of 148 seats in 294 assembly seats.

Voting for the second and final phase of West Bengal Assembly elections has been completed peacefully. In this phase, more than 90 percent voting was recorded on 142 seats, which clearly shows that voters participated enthusiastically in this festival of democracy.

Now the eyes of the entire state are fixed on the election results. It will be interesting to see whether Mamata Banerjee is able to maintain her strong hold once again or whether the Bharatiya Janata Party succeeds in capturing power in the state for the first time.

Voting was conducted in two phases for a total of 294 assembly seats in the state. To form the government it is necessary to cross the figure of 148 seats.

If we look at the exit poll results, most of the surveys seem to be in favor of BJP. In three out of four surveys, there are indications of BJP getting the lead, while in one survey, the possibility of Mamata Banerjee’s return has been expressed.

In such a situation, till the results come, the political atmosphere remains heated and everyone is waiting for the final decision.
