Udaipur, April 28 (Read): Vivo has launched its latest smartphone, the Vivo Y500s, in the Chinese market. The device comes equipped with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 chipset and a large 7,200mAh battery. It features a 6.75-inch display with a 120Hz refresh rate and carries an IP rating for protection against dust, water, and shocks.
Vivo Y500s Price and Availability
The 8GB + 256GB storage variant of the Vivo Y500s is priced at CNY 1,799 (approximately Rs 24,800). The 12GB + 256GB and 8GB + 512GB variants are priced at CNY 2,099 (approximately Rs 28,900). The smartphone is available in Galaxy Silver, Obsidian Black, and Phoenix Gold colour options. It is currently available for purchase through the official e-store in China.

The Vivo Y500s sports a 6.75-inch HD LCD display with a resolution of 1570×720 pixels and a 120Hz refresh rate. It is powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 processor paired with an Adreno 613 GPU. The device offers up to 12GB LPDDR4X RAM and up to 512GB UFS 3.1 storage.
Connectivity options include 5G, 4G LTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.2, GPS, NFC, and a USB Type-C port. The smartphone runs on Android 16-based OriginOS 6. It packs a 7,200mAh battery with support for 44W fast charging and reverse charging.

For photography, the Vivo Y500s features a 50MP primary rear camera with f/1.8 aperture. On the front, it has an 8MP camera for selfies and video calls.
