A UK jewellery company with a two-decade trading history has collapsed into liquidation, according to an official notice. Olivia Grace London, which sold fine jewellery pieces through its website and other channels, has formally entered creditors' voluntary liquidation after mounting financial pressures.
The winding-up was confirmed in a notice published in The Gazette, marking the end of a business that had operated for around 20 years. The brand, which marketed itself as a London-based jeweller offering contemporary designs, had built a presence online via Olivia Grace London, showcasing a range of rings, necklaces and bespoke pieces. However, its latest available accounts paint a picture of a company under strain.
Financial statements for the period ending March 31, 2025 show the firm held total current assets of £67,199, down from £77,799 in November 2024. This included £40,000 in stock, £11,621 in debtors and £15,578 in cash at the bank.
At the same time, liabilities due within one year stood at £69,955, leaving the business with net current liabilities of £2,756.
Overall, total assets less current liabilities were recorded at just £1,780, compared with £2,821 in the previous period - a decline that underlines the company's worsening financial position.
Shareholders' funds were also negative, with retained earnings sitting at minus £2,395, highlighting that the company had been operating with limited financial headroom.
No further details have been published on the precise causes of the collapse, but the move into liquidation indicates directors concluded the business could no longer meet its debts as they fell due.
The appointment of a liquidator typically signals that the remaining assets will now be realised to repay creditors.
The collapse adds to a growing list of small UK retail and lifestyle brands facing pressure amid rising costs and challenging trading conditions.
The company becomes the latest jewellery firm to collapse in recent months, with companies such as Andra Jewels Limited, WH Darby and even high street giant Claire's all falling on hard times in 2026 and announcing administration and liquidations.
