According to sources, the woman developed a romantic relationship with the younger man in Lohra village, located in the Robertsganj police jurisdiction. Despite attempts by her family and children to convince her to stay, she remained resolute in her decision to be with her lover.

The woman's eldest daughter shared that her mother frequently visited her uncle's house, where she met the young man. Despite their efforts to reason with her, the mother chose to leave with him. The mother-in-law of the woman mentioned that she had been visiting her lover for the past six months and has now been living with him for the last month, despite their pleas for her to return.
