Amidst the direct war between America and Iran, Israel has taken a step which has shocked the whole world. According to latest reports, Israel has deployed its most deadly missile defense system ‘Iron Dome’ and its army troops there for the security of United Arab Emirates (UAE). This step has been taken in view of the increasing threats of Iranian missiles and drones. This is the first time that Israel has so actively expanded its military power for the security of an Arab country amid increasing tension in the Middle East. Israel’s ‘Iron Dome’ is considered one of the most effective missile defense systems in the world. The main objective of deploying it in UAE is to destroy short-range missiles and suicide drones coming from Iran in the air. Experts believe that this deployment is the biggest example of increasing military cooperation between the two countries after the Abraham Accords. The military conflict between America and Iran has intensified in the last few days. There are continuous attacks on American bases located in Gulf countries, to which America is responding with air strikes. Iran has warned that if it is attacked, it will also target those Gulf countries which support America or Israel. Sensing this danger, Israel and UAE have entered into this strategic partnership to strengthen their defense line. Israeli soldiers have entered the field. The report claims that not only technology, but experts and soldiers of Israeli Defense Force (IDF) have also reached UAE. These soldiers will help the local forces there in operating the Iron Dome and integrating the radar system. This direct involvement of Israel shows that it is ready to go to any extent to stop the growing influence of Iran. This deployment is causing great resentment among Iran and its supported groups. Changing equations: Arabs and Israelis together. This step of Israel is a historic turning point in the politics of Gulf countries. Countries that were once staunch enemies of each other are now uniting against a common enemy (Iran). This military blockade has pushed Iran strategically on the backfoot. However, defense experts have warned that this activism by Israel has further increased the risk of a major regional war in the entire region.
