Anpara Pro Volleyball League Edition-8 concluded late on Sunday evening at the Operating Club located in the residential complex of Anpara Thermal Project. In the final match, Team Blockers defeated Team Setters 3-1 and captured the title.

Completion of the competition organized by Anpara Sporting Club Anpara, Chief Guest and Chief General Manager of the project, Engineer Ajay Kumar Katiyar, Special Guest Engineer Nikhil Chaturvedi (General Manager Administration), Engineer SP Yadav (General Manager), Engineer Chand Prakash (General Manager B Tap), Superintending Engineer Engineer Gajendra Singh, Engineer Utpal Shankar, Engineer VK Dinkar, Engineer SK Rajak, Engineer VK Singh, Chief Medical Officer Dr Amarnath. This happened in the presence of all the respected people of the city including Baranwal, Executive Engineer In Subhash Chandra Patel, In BR Patel, Ind DK Vikal, In Sanjay Mahato, Ind DK Tripathi, In Manoj Prasad, In Mehdi Hasan, Subhash Chauhan.

Players from Anpara, Dibulganj, Bina, Bijpur, Shaktinagar, Khadiya Kakri, Renusagar and nearby areas were included in various teams in the competition. It is to be noted that this competition is being organized by Sporting Club Anpara for the last seven years under a scheme of Suresh Chandra Mishra, Secretary of Sonbhadra Volleyball Association, in which new players also get a chance to show their performance. Secretary Suresh Chandra Mishra said that this competition has been going on since last 13th April. Team Spikers of IN Dhirendra Chaubey, Team Setters of IN Adalat Verma, Team Attackers of IN BR Patel, Team Defenders of IN SK Rajak, Team Blockers of IN Anirudh Singh participated in it.

The sponsors of the teams are Vikrama Ram, Shashi Chand Yadav, Amit Singh, Satendra Yadav, Akash Goyal. The final match was played between team setters and blockers, in which the blockers won the trophy by defeating the setters 3-1 in a tough match. The score of the final match was 25-22,23-25, 25-21,25-23. In the closing ceremony, the chief guest while encouraging the players said that sports is an integral part of life and it leads to physical and mental development.

Sports teaches us to work with discipline and teamwork. The organizing committee honored all the guests and players present by presenting mementos. The role of team manager was played by DN Dwivedi, Om Brat Singh, Indraman Prasad, Jaiprakash Vishwakarma, Ardevendra Mall, Kamlesh Kumar, Om Prakash Pandey, Shivprakash alias Shri, Shiva Singh. The organizing committee included In Pawan Singh, Pawan Chaurasia, In Janakdhari, In Satish. Singh, Kamlesh, Praveen, Manoj, Omprakash, Himanshu, Nishant, Avnish, Akash were present.
