A fantastic opportunity has arisen to undertake an internship at the Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO). DRDO has invited applications for internships from final-year BE/B.Tech and ME/M.Tech students. If you are a BE/B.Tech or ME/M.Tech students and are keen to work with this premier agency under the Ministry of Defence, Government of India, you are eligible to apply. Notably, DRDO develops missiles (such as Agni and Akash), aircraft, and radar systems through a network of over 50 laboratories, headquartered in the national capital, Delhi.

This internship will span a duration of six months and will be a paid internship. Selected candidates will receive a stipend of ₹15,000, disbursed in two installments: the first installment after three months, and the second after six months. To be eligible for the stipend, a minimum monthly attendance of 15 days is mandatory. The application process has already commenced, and the deadline for submission is set for May 15, 2026.

**What is the Selection Process?**
Candidates for the DRDO internship will be selected based on merit and/or through direct or online interviews. In the event of a tie in scores, the candidates' dates of birth will be considered to determine the final selection. Selected candidates will be notified via their registered email IDs.

**Who Can Apply?**
Only students who will be in the final year of their BE/B.Tech or ME/M.Tech programs during the 2026-27 academic session are eligible to apply for the internship at the Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO).
