A stretch of the M4 motorway remains closed tonight in the wake of a serious collision involving a coach and a car.
The westbound carriageway is shut in Wiltshire between Junction 14 (Hungerford) and Junction 15 for the A419 at Swindon East, following the smash in the early hours of Sunday morning (April 26).
Officers remain at the scene, with National Highways warning at 5am on Sunday that "the road is likely to remain closed for some time" while accident investigation work is carried out and an oil spillage is dealt with.
Their incident log reads: "The M4 in Wiltshire is closed westbound between J14 (Hungerford) and J15 (Swindon) due to a serious collision involving a car and a coach.", reports Bristol Live.
