NEET UG 2026 Admit Card: The National Testing Agency (NTA) has issued a crucial update for the lakhs of candidates preparing to appear for NEET UG 2026—the country's largest medical entrance examination. The NTA is set to release the NEET UG 2026 admit cards for all candidates on Monday, April 27, 2026, by 10:00 AM on the official website, neet.nta.nic.in. However, the NTA's message extends beyond just the admit cards and examination guidelines; the agency has also issued an important appeal regarding mental health.

The NEET UG examination is scheduled for May 3, 2026. During these final few days, most candidates experience immense pressure and stress. With this in mind, the NTA took to Twitter to remind candidates that no examination is more important than their life itself. The agency has advised everyone to remain calm, stay hydrated, and seek help if they experience any form of mental distress. This marks the first time that such high priority has been accorded to the 'mental well-being' of candidates immediately before a major examination.

When will the NEET UG 2026 Admit Card be released?
The NEET UG admit cards will be available for download starting tomorrow—April 27, 2026 (Monday)—from 10:00 AM onwards. Candidates will be able to easily download their NEET UG 2026 admit cards by using their application number and date of birth. The NTA has advised candidates to carefully verify the examination center address and reporting time mentioned on the admit card immediately upon receiving it, in order to avoid any last-minute complications.

How to prepare for NEET UG?

The NEET UG examination is scheduled for next Sunday. In terms of Sundays, candidates have only today left at their disposal. Consequently, the NTA has shared a "pro-tip" on social media specifically for today. Candidates have been advised to utilize this day solely for taking a practice test or for revising (revisiting) important concepts. Rather than attempting to study new topics, candidates should focus on consolidating and strengthening the concepts they have already mastered. This will help enhance your concentration and ensure that you do not forget what you have studied.

**Take Special Care of Your Health**

The summer season is currently at its peak. Amidst the pressure of the NEET UG 2026 medical entrance examination, do not let your body become dehydrated. The NTA has urged NEET UG candidates to drink plenty of water and remain calm. Remember, a healthy mind resides only in a healthy body—a factor that will help you perform better during the NEET UG 2026 examination.

**Do Not Panic; Reach Out for Help**

If you are experiencing stress, anxiety, or immense pressure, do not bottle it up inside. The NTA has shared the number for the National Mental Health Helpline, ‘Tele-MANAS’. Candidates can call 14416 or 1-800-891-4416. This service is available 24/7 and offers free, confidential counseling in multiple languages. You are not alone; an entire team stands with you.
