Haryana News: Haryana Chief Minister Naib Singh Saini participated as the chief guest in the workers awareness felicitation ceremony organized in Gurugram. On this occasion, he appreciated the contribution of the workers and said that the hard work of the workers is the biggest basis for the progress of the country and the state.

The Chief Minister said that he got the opportunity to honor the labor brothers in this program, which is a matter of pride for him. He said that the contribution of workers is important everywhere, from micro industries to big factories.

Decision to increase salary by 35 percent

During the program, the Chief Minister transferred the benefits of 29 schemes being run for the workers directly into their accounts. He informed that an amount of about Rs 40 crore has been sent to the accounts of a total of 34,197 beneficiaries.
CM Saini said that the government has increased the minimum wage to Rs 19,425, which is a three-fold increase in the last 11 years. Apart from this, it has also been decided to increase the basic salary by 35 percent on April 8.

Atal residential schools will be established

He said that under the guidance of the Prime Minister, the e-Shramik portal has been created by the Central Government, on which 54 lakh 32 thousand workers of Haryana are registered. Comprehensive health facilities will be provided free of cost to the registered workers.
The Chief Minister also announced that Atal Residential Schools will be set up for the education of children of workers from classes 6 to 12. Along with this, there are also preparations to start a safe labor system, under which free health check-up of workers working in industries will be done every year.

ESIC dispensary will be established

He informed that the 100 bed hospital located in Manesar will be upgraded to 200 bed hospital and five new ESIC dispensaries will also be established in the state. CM said that many public welfare schemes are being run in the state for the welfare and upliftment of workers. The process of giving appointment letters to the employees under the service security rules is going on, which will be completed by June 15 and appointment letters will be provided to all the eligible employees.

Formation of Social Security Board

Apart from this, the state government is going to constitute a Social Security Board, which will promote social and economic development of organized workers. Social security will also be provided to auto drivers and drivers through this board.
