Jaipur. Sunrisers Hyderabad won the toss and decided to bowl first against Rajasthan Royals (RR) in the 36th match of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2026 on Saturday. Here today Sunrisers Hyderabad captain Pat Cummins won the toss and decided to bowl first. After the toss, Cummins said that the wicket looks good and that is why we want to see how much score we get for the chase. My preparation is quite good and my body is also feeling good.
Ishan Kishan did excellent captaincy. The team won 4 out of the first 7 matches under his captaincy. The pitch in Hyderabad was very good. But this is the first match of both the teams here. It will be challenging. He said that there are two changes in the team. Rajasthan Royals captain Riyan Parag said that we also wanted to bowl first after winning the toss but our chasing has not been good in the last few seasons.
For this reason there is no problem in batting first. Our camp was set up here and that is why we know the wicket very well. There will be dew but not too much. Last year we were behind by a few overs, this season we want to play better cricket in the full 40 overs. The middle order and other batsmen will have to take responsibility.
Both the teams are as follows:-
Rajasthan Royals (XI):- Vaibhav Suryavanshi, Yashasvi Jaiswal, Dhruv Jurel, Ryan Parag (captain), Donovan Ferreira, Ravindra Jadeja, Joffra Archer, Tushar Deshpande, Nandre Berger and Brijesh Sharma.
Sunrisers Hyderabad (XI):- Abhishek Sharma, Ishan Kishan, Heinrich Klaasen, Salil Arora, Aniket Verma, Nitish Reddy, Pat Cummins (captain), Shivang Kumar, Saqib Hussain, Ishan Malinga and Prafulla Hinge.
