Friends, WhatsApp is the most popular instant messaging app in the modern age, with more than 4 billion users worldwide, and with dozens—or even hundreds—of messages arriving every day, it’s easy to lose sight of important chats. Opening each message one by one may seem like a tedious and time-consuming task. But do you know that you can clean the screen very easily, know about these tricks-
Why use the “Mark all as read” feature?
When your inbox is filled with messages, important conversations often get buried under the pile of unread messages. This feature lets you quickly clear your chat list, remove notification badges, and regain control of every chat without having to manually open it.
How to mark all messages as read on your smartphone
Open WhatsApp on your smartphone.
Tap the three dots in the top-right corner.
Select the “Mark all as read” option.
Instantly, all unread messages will be marked as read, and notification badges will disappear.
Now your chat screen will look clean and organized.
How to use this feature on WhatsApp Web
Open WhatsApp Web in your browser.
Click the three dots above your chat list.
Select “Mark all as read.”
All chats will be updated as read in one click.
This simply marks the message as read; It doesn’t delete or further organize them.
Protect your privacy with “Read Receipts”
Go to Settings in WhatsApp.
Tap on Privacy.
Turn off “Read Receipts”.
After this, the sender will only see gray ticks, even if you’ve read their messages.
Using these simple tools, you can better manage your WhatsApp, reduce clutter, and maintain your privacy—all without a lot of effort.
