The National Testing Agency has released an advisory for candidates appearing in the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test Undergraduate 2026, outlining restrictions for exam day. The exam is scheduled to be held on May 3 from 2 pm to 5 pm across 552 cities in India and 14 cities abroad. Admit cards will be issued soon on the official website, neet.nta.nic.in.

As per the official notification, candidates will undergo extensive and compulsory frisking before entering the examination venue to ensure compliance with guidelines.List of prohibited items
The NTA has specified that candidates must not carry the following items under any circumstances:- Any textual material, whether printed or written, bits of paper, geometry box, pencil box, plastic pouch, calculator, pen, scale, writing pad, pen drives, eraser, log table, electronic pen, scanner and similar items
- Communication devices such as mobile phones, bluetooth devices, earphones, microphones, pagers and health bands
- Personal items including wallets, goggles, handbags, belts and caps
- Watches, wristwatches, bracelets and cameras
- Ornaments or any metallic items
- Food items, whether opened or packed, and water bottles
- Any other item that could be used for unfair means
