Speaking on a podcast, Kajol explained that the decision was not an easy one. She said that it was not just a kiss scene, but an important part of her character’s story. If she had omitted that scene, it would have felt incomplete. According to her, it was important to show her character’s emotions, thoughts and struggles through that scene.

Kajol openly admitted that the scene made her feel very uncomfortable. Even until the last moment of filming, she was not sure whether to do it or not. She said that while the idea sounded good in theory, it was difficult to implement in practice. Still, she eventually made it as a business decision.

Kajol says that as an actress sometimes one has to take decisions which are not easy, but necessary for the story and the character. In this web series, Kajol plays Nainika, a woman who returns to the legal profession after her husband’s scandal.
