Commuters travelling from Euston station in London have been hit travel disruption following a major incident. On Thursday afternoon there were no trains running from Euston due to "emergency services dealing with an incident in the Berkhamsted area".
Pictures from the station show dozens of commuters gathered in the concourse area as many services were cancelled or delayed. It later emerged police were called to the area after receiving "reports of a casualty on the tracks". A BTP spokesperson added: "Paramedics also attended and sadly a person was pronounced dead at the scene. This incident is not being treated as suspicious, and a file will be prepared for the coroner." This comes as Tube strikes spark more travel chaos in the capital this week.
