Sports Desk. Rajasthan Royals opening batsman Vaibhav Suryavanshi has created history in IPL. A record has been registered in his name by scoring 8 runs against Lucknow Super Giants in the 32nd match of IPL 2026. Now he has become the fastest batsman to complete 500 runs in IPL.
Suryavanshi achieved this record in just 227 balls. He has become the first player in IPL history to complete 500 runs in less than 250 balls. In this case, Suryavanshi has broken the record of Australia’s legendary all-rounder Glenn Maxwell, who had completed 500 runs in 260 balls.
Priyansh Arya and Virender Sehwag had achieved this big feat in 280-280 balls. Naman Dhir completed his five hundred runs in 283 balls. Suryavanshi had scored 252 runs in his debut season. He has scored more than 250 runs so far in this edition of IPL and remains fourth in the Orange Cap race.
