Strictly Come Dancing fans are patiently waiting to find out who the next presenters will be. Long-running hosts Tess Daly and Claudia Winkleman announced they were stepping down from Strictly last year after 11 years co-hosting the main show together.
The pair described their job as a "dream", but felt now was the right time to hand the baton over to others. Since Strictly's inception in 2004, there has always been two presenters and there is no indication that this will change for 2026. There has been endless speculation about who is set to replace the iconic BBC duo, and there are reportedly nine lucky stars who have been shortlisted by BBC bosses.
This includes Rylan Clark and Emma Willis, an already popular duo thanks to their appearances on ITV's This Morning. The One Show host Alex Jones, broadcaster Angela Scanlon and comedian Tom Allen are also believed to be in the running.
This Morning presenter Alison Hammond and The Chase host Bradley Walsh have also caught the eyes of Strictly bosses, as has BBC Radio 2 presenter Zoe Ball. Rounding off the list of candidates is La Voix, who performed on last year's series alongside Alja Škorjanec.
