New Delhi. Uttar Pradesh Secondary Education Council’s daughters have once again hoisted the flag in the examination results of 10th (high school) and 12th (intermediate) classes of UP Board. In the top 3 list of both the classes, all are girl students and only one is male. Kashish Verma of Sitapur and Anshika Verma of Barabanki have jointly secured first position in the high school examination. Both the girl students have got 97.83 percent marks. Whereas, Aditi of Barabanki stood second by securing 97.50 percent marks. Whereas Arpita of Sitapur and Pari Verma of Barambaki and Jhansi student Rishabh Sahu won the third place. All three scored 97.33 marks.

Similarly, Shikha Verma holds the first position in the list of class 12 toppers. Shikha has passed her 12th exam with 97.60 percent marks. Shikha is a student of Baburam Savitri Devi College, Sitapur. There are two girl students each in second and third place. Nandani Gupta of Sarvodaya Jankalyan Vidyalaya, Bareilly, Shriya Verma of Maharani Lakshmi Bai Memorial School, Barabanki have topped the second by securing 97.20 percent marks. Similarly, Surabhi Yadav, student of Sarvodaya Jankalyan Vidyalaya, Bareilly and Pooja Pal of Maharani Lakshmi Bai Memorial School, Barabanki are jointly third toppers. Both the girl students have scored 97 percent marks.

This time a total of 25,98,560 students had appeared for the 12th board exam, out of which 21,08,774 students were successful. The overall passing percentage of boys and girls was 81.15 percent. The number of students who appeared for the exam was 13,87,263 out of which 10,62,616 students passed and the pass percentage of students was 76.60 percent. Similarly, a total of 12, 11,297 girl students appeared in the examination out of which 10,46,158 girl students passed. The passing percentage of girl students was 86.37.
