Auspicious time to worship the last Pradosh fast of Vaishakh month.
On the day of Bhaum Pradosh fast i.e. 28th April, the auspicious time for worshiping Lord Shiva will be from 06:54 pm to 09:04 pm.
Worship method of Pradosh Vrat
- On the day of Pradosh Vrat, wake up early in the morning, take bath and wear clean clothes. Then take a pledge to fast.
- Keep Belpatra, Dhatura, Aak flowers, Akshat, incense, lamp, Ganga water and sweets ready for the puja.
- During Pradosh Kaal i.e. in the evening, take bath again or wash your hands and feet and become pure.
- Place the idols of Lord Shiva, Mother Parvati and Ganesh ji on a post.
- First of all anoint Shivling with Ganga water and raw milk.
- Offer Belpatra, flowers, hemp, Dhatura etc. on Shivalinga.
- After this chant Om Namah Shivay mantra. Read or listen to the story of Pradosh Vrat.
- At last, perform Aarti of Lord Shiva and distribute Prasad among everyone.
