The objective of this account is to provide easy, secure and convenient banking experience to elderly customers. The special thing is that customers will not need to visit the bank branch again and again, because most of the services will be available sitting at home. From healthcare facilities to doorstep banking, this account is designed to provide great relief to senior citizens in financial and daily life.
Bank of Baroda has taken an important step towards making banking easy and convenient for senior citizens. The bank has launched a premium savings account named BoB Senior Citizen Special Samman, which has been specially designed keeping in mind the needs of elderly customers. This account is available to customers who maintain a monthly average balance (MAB) of Rs 1 lakh.

The biggest feature of this account is the doorstep banking facility, under which customers will be provided free service twice every month. This will reduce the need for senior citizens to go to the bank branch to a great extent and they will be able to complete their important banking work sitting at home. Apart from this, this premium account also includes many benefits related to healthcare. Customers will get facilities like free online consultation from doctors, discounts on medicines and medical tests. This feature can prove to be especially beneficial for the elderly.
BOB Bhoomi RuPay Select debit card will also be given free along with the account. Through this card, customers will get premium benefits like airport lounge access, free health checkup, gym, spa, salon services, golf and OTT subscription. Customers will get up to 50% discount on processing fees on reverse mortgage loans, 20% discount on locker charges and free NEFT-RTGS transactions. Up to 50% discount will also be given on IMPS transactions.
