According to the local people, this balloon was found in the fields of village Khedi ki Dhani. Farmer Jaibir Sharma told that when he went towards the fields in the morning, he saw a balloon on which PIA was written. When other people of village Khedi got this news, they also reached the spot and the police were informed about the matter. Police reached the spot, examined the balloon and took it into their custody. The incident of finding Pakistani balloon remains a topic of discussion in Chopta area. Preliminary investigation by the police has revealed that the balloon has come to Sirsa after flying with the wind, because even before this such balloons have been found in Dabwali, Raniya and Ellenabad areas. Sirsa district is adjacent to the border of Punjab and Rajasthan and Pakistani balloons reach here with the direction of the wind. On April 15 also, a balloon with Pakistan written on it was found in Chamal village of the district. Before this, two months ago, a Pakistani balloon was found in the fields of village Dholpalian of Ellenabad and village Matuwala of Raniyan town. Pak was written on the balloon and Pakistan International Airlines was written on the other side. At present the police is investigating the entire matter. Chopta police station in-charge said that a balloon with PIA written on it has been recovered from village Khedi area, the matter is being investigated and there is nothing to fear.
