US nuclear chief Andrew Hugg was dramatically "escorted out of the Pentagon" this evening, according to reports, amid an investigation into what is being described as a "sensitive leak".
Army Spokesperson Cynthia O. Smith said: "We have placed Mr. Hugg on administrative leave while we conduct a thorough investigation into this matter."
It comes after independent journalist James O'Keefe released video footage online that reportedly showed the army chief disclosing "sensitive" information.
Former Army colonel Douglas MacGregor posted: "US Nuclear Chief Andrew Hugg ESCORTED out of the Pentagon."
