Chandigarh. Lucknow Super Giants bowler Prince Yadav has reached the top three in the Purple Cap race by taking two wickets for Punjab Kings in the match played yesterday. Prince has played in all six matches in this IPL. On Sunday, he took two wickets of Punjab Kings, taking his total to 11 wickets this season, which is equal to the famous Krishna of Gujarat Titans (GT).
However Prince’s economy rate is much better than Prasidh. Anshul Kamboj still leads the table with 13 wickets, while Rajasthan Royals (AR)’s Ravi Bishnoi has moved up to fifth position with 10 wickets after taking one wicket against Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR).
Ahead of him, Bhuvneshwar Kumar of Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) is at fourth position.
After Sunday’s matches, RR’s Jofra Archer also has eight wickets, which is equal to four other bowlers.
This also includes KKR’s Karthik Tyagi, who took three wickets against RR.
There has been no change in the top three positions in the Orange Cap run-scorers’ list, but the player who was number one in the initial phase of the tournament is now at fourth position.
SRH’s Heinrich Klaasen, GT’s Shubman Gill and RCB’s Virat Kohli remain in the top three positions,
Whereas RR’s Vaibhav Suryavanshi has now reached the fourth position after scoring 46 runs against KKR.
