Indian Oil Surya Nutan: The impact of tensions in the Middle East has been felt in India as well. Reports of gas shortages have emerged from various parts of the country. In many areas, people faced difficulties even in booking gas cylinders. Amidst this situation, while some people switched from LPG to PNG connections, many households began using induction cooktops. But did you know that Indian Oil has now introduced a new cooking technology that requires neither PNG, LPG, nor an induction cooktop? You can now easily cook your meals using the power of sunlight. In fact, the country's leading energy giant, Indian Oil, has unveiled an indoor solar cooking system named 'Surya Nutan.' Let's explore this in greater detail...
How does Surya Nutan work?
According to reports, solar panels are installed on the rooftop of the house for the Surya Nutan system. These solar panels are then connected via cables to a cooktop located in the kitchen. Consequently, the cooktop operates entirely on solar energy. You might now be wondering if this system remains effective during rainy days. The answer is 'yes.' When sunlight is unavailable, you can operate the system using electricity.
What is the price?
According to media reports, the company has launched this solar cooking system in three different models. The price of the base model starts at ₹12,000, while the top-end model is priced up to ₹23,000. It is anticipated that as demand increases, the price of the system may be reduced.
