RCB vs LSG, IPL 2026: Will Virat Kohli feature in the game against Lucknow? Kohli training with heavily strapped leg raises concerns ahead of the game in Bengaluru. Kohli, who is reportedly nursing an ankle injury, did have a net at the M. Chinnaswamy stadium and is expected to feature in the game against Lucknow, but there is a problem for sure.
LSG’s social media handle featured a couple of videos where Kohli is seen all strapped up while interacting with LSG players. In a certain clip, Kohli meets Kane Williamson and Rishabh Pant. Here is the clip that has started all the speculations ahead of the match at RCB's home.

What is certain from that Kohli is not 100 per cent fit and that would be a concern for RCB fans. Following his 38-ball 50, there has been talk over his strike-rate as some experts reckon his game is not at par with the modern T20 template.
Should Kohli be Used as Impact Player?
It is not a bad option and if there is a concern with his leg, this option could be contemplated. This will allow him to relax during the bowling innings and bat when required. But again, his intensity and his presence on-the-field would be missed. Kohli is an integral part of the side and by playing him as an Impact sub, the RCB side would be able to maintain their combinations.
In hours from now, a red-hot RCB would host Lucknow at home. Given their form, RCB would start firm favourites to win it. With three wins in four matches, RCB are sitting pretty at the top on the third spot. Rajasthan Royals and Punjab Kings are ahead of RCB in the points tally.
