digital desk- Addressing a public meeting held in Bankura, West Bengal, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath expressed concern over the current situation in the state and strongly advocated change. He said that West Bengal is now moving towards a new phase of change and change is certain in the times to come. In his address, Yogi Adityanath said that it is sad to see the current situation of Bengal. Describing this land as the land of Swami Vivekananda, he said that at one time this state was leading from the cultural and spiritual point of view, but today the situation has become the opposite. He alleged that first the Congress, then the Left parties and the Trinamool Congress (TMC) government for the last 15 years have pushed the state towards poverty and chaos.
TMC cornered on law and order
CM Yogi also cornered the West Bengal government on the issue of law and order. He said that there is an atmosphere of anarchy and hooliganism in the state, whereas the situation in Uttar Pradesh has completely changed. He said, “Once upon a time there used to be riots on every festival in UP, mafia and goons used to rule the government, but today there is rule of law. Now there is no mafia, no goon, every citizen feels safe.” In his speech, he talked about ‘appeasement’ versus ‘satisfaction’ and said that his government is working for the development of all sections. He claimed that strict action has been taken against criminals in Uttar Pradesh and law and order has been strengthened.
Mentioned about the murder of Dalit Hindu in Bangladesh
Yogi Adityanath also targeted the politics of Bengal. He said “vote traders” were trying to change the population structure of the state. Referring to the recent murder of a Dalit Hindu in Bangladesh, he said that the BJP protested on this issue, but West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee maintained silence. He alleged that this silence is due to vote bank politics. CM Yogi appealed to the public and said that this is the time to secure the future of the coming generations. He appealed to the people not to allow Congress, Left and TMC to play with the future of the state.
