Akhilesh Yadav: SP chief Akhilesh Yadav has almost ended the ongoing speculations about the alliance of Samajwadi Party and Congress regarding the 2027 assembly elections in Uttar Pradesh. In the press conference held in Jaipur, he clearly indicated that the party will not go with any new party, but will contest the elections with the existing alliance i.e. INDIA Bloc. It has become clear from this statement that the cooperation of SP and Congress is going to remain intact in UP and they will be the main front against BJP.
Bet on PDA, refusal of new alliance
Akhilesh Yadav clearly said that this time the battle will not be fought only with political alliance but with social equation. He told the strategy to challenge BJP by uniting ‘PDA’ i.e. backward, Dalit and minority classes. According to him, this community will play a decisive role in the 2027 elections and there is no need to add any new party.
Akhilesh Yadav: Sharp attack on Yogi
Without taking the name of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, Akhilesh directly attacked him. He said that “Ajay Singh Bisht is a fake saint.” Also referring to Shankaracharya Swami Avimukteshwarananda, he said that he is fighting against fake saints and the Samajwadi Party respects him. He sarcastically said that those who ask for proof from others, do not have any proof themselves.
Akhilesh Yadav: Questions raised regarding voter list
Akhilesh Yadav also accused BJP of conspiracy regarding the revision of voter list. He said that names of a large number of voters in urban areas have been deleted, which raises suspicion. However, due to the alertness of SP workers, this plan could not be completely successful. He said that he himself will go to Lucknow and review the final voter list.

Taking aim at BJP’s ‘Voter List Purification’ campaign, Akhilesh said that no matter how much the government claims, in the coming time it is the people who will purify the government. Calling it the power of the people, he said that in democracy the final decision is in the hands of the people.
