The incident took place on flight MH318 from Kuala Lumpur to Beijing, Asia One reported.
A video circulating on Weibo shows the man arguing with cabin crew and airport security while seated on the aircraft.
In the footage, he claims he had only “lightly tapped” the flight attendant and argued that his actions did not warrant removal from the flight.
The flight attendant is heard rejecting his explanation, describing the conduct as “very inappropriate,” after which security personnel escorted him off the plane.

A fellow passenger said the confrontation appeared to occur amid boarding disruptions, Mothership reported.
The airline had reportedly made a last-minute aircraft change, preventing some passengers from scanning boarding passes and forcing seat reassignments and reissuance of tickets.
According to the tracking status of the flight MH318, the departure was delayed by about an hour.
The video of the confrontation quickly triggered widespread backlash online, with many users condemning the alleged conduct and urging authorities to take firm action.
As at now, there has been no official statement from Malaysia Airlines or relevant authorities confirming the details of the incident.
