Things got heated during the IPL 2026 match between the Delhi Capitals and Gujarat Titans as Rashid Khan and Nitish Rana were involved in an intense staredown after the Afghanistan spinner dismissed the DC batter.

It happened during the Delhi Capitals’ chase of 211 at the Arun Jaitley Stadium. The hosts began their chase brilliantly, but one over from Rashid gave Gujarat the much-needed momentum. After dismissing Rana, the Afghan leg-spinner gave him an intense stare, and the Delhi batter did not take it lightly.

Coming to the match, David Miller, not showing much faith in his partner Kuldeep Yadav, indicated 'no' when he had a chance to get single off the penultimate ball bowled by Prasidh Krishna. After that, the cleverly disguised slower ball from Krishna was enough to get the better of Miller, and wicket-keeper Buttler, who had taken off one glove, swiftly broke the stumps before Kuldeep had time to return.

Ending the match on a sad note, Delhi Capitals managed to score a mere 209 for 8, missing their target of 211 by a whisker.
