This morning, a severe accident occurred in Mandi district when a Hyundai Venue vehicle (UP-19-W-4908) fell approximately 100 meters into a gorge near Bathedi on the Arang road in the Katoula region. The car was transporting five young individuals from Haryana who were headed to Parashar Lake but mistakenly took the Katoula route. At around 6:06 AM, the driver lost control of the vehicle, leading it to veer off the road and plunge into the gorge.
All five passengers suffered injuries, with one person reported to be in critical condition. The group had embarked on an early morning trip for leisure at Parashar Lake, but the unfortunate incident turned their outing into a tragedy. Rescue efforts were promptly initiated, and the injured were swiftly taken for medical care.
