Digital Desk, New Delhi: The ceasefire that was created between Iran, Israel and America seems to be in ruins. The dream of peace in West Asia has once again turned into smoke. Israeli fighter planes have heavily bombed many areas including Lebanon’s capital Beirut.

These horrific attacks have shocked Lebanon. According to government figures, at least 254 people have lost their lives in these attacks so far, while more than 1,165 people have been seriously injured. It is noteworthy that Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu had already made it clear that Lebanon will not be considered part of this ceasefire. In view of the magnitude of the attacks, Lebanon has declared Thursday a day of mourning throughout the country.

Iran’s ultimatum to America: ‘War or peace, choose one’

After these attacks on Lebanon, Iran’s anger is at its peak. Iran’s Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi has given a direct warning to America. He wrote on the social media platform ‘X’ that now America will have to decide – either choose ceasefire or continue this war through Israel. Araghchi said in a stern tone that America cannot do both things simultaneously. Drawing the attention of the whole world towards the ‘genocide’ taking place in Lebanon, he said that now the ball is in America’s court and the world is watching whether it keeps its promises or not.

Iran will punish Israel, crisis looms over ceasefire

While talking to Al Jazeera, a senior Iranian official has made it clear that Israel has violated the terms of the ceasefire and it will be punished for this. “Israel is notorious for breaking promises and can be stopped only by the language of bullets,” the official said in a stern statement.

Iran alleges that Israel has jeopardized the delicate agreement that was reached between the US and Iran to stop the conflict for two weeks. Iran has warned that if attacks on Lebanon do not stop, tensions in the Strait of Hormuz could reach their peak again and the agreement could break completely.
