Sara Arjun, one of the breakout stars of the blockbuster Dhurandhar franchise, is set to portray Bollywood icon Madhubala in an upcoming biographical film, reported Pinkvilla.

The project will be backed by Sanjay Leela Bhansali and directed by Jasmeet K Reen.

The film is currently in pre-production and will go on floors later this year.
