Taking a big step towards taking the industrial development of Rajasthan to new heights, located at Pachpadra HPCL Rajasthan Refinery Limited A revised cost of ₹79,459 crore has been approved. This decision has been taken by the Cabinet Committee on Economic Affairs under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

Describing this decision as historic, Chief Minister Shri Bhajan Lal Sharma said that this will strengthen the energy security of not only Rajasthan but the entire country. He said that this project will play an important role in reducing dependence on imports of petrochemicals and promoting domestic manufacturing.

Pachpadra Refinery Project has been an ambitious project for the state for a long time. Now after the approval of the revised cost, its work is expected to accelerate. On completion of this project, Rajasthan will be able to create a strong identity among the major industrial centers of the country.

The Chief Minister said that from this refinery in the state Over 25,000 direct and indirect employment opportunities Have been created. This will provide employment to the local youth and the economic activities of the area will get new momentum.

He also said that the project will not only promote industrial development but will also be helpful in developing infrastructure in the surrounding areas, expansion of small industries and attracting investments. This will provide long-term strength to the state’s economy.

Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma expressed gratitude to Prime Minister Narendra Modi for this visionary decision and expressed confidence that Pachpadra Refinery will prove to be a milestone in changing the industrial scenario of Rajasthan.
