Veteran star Anil Kapoor continues to win hearts with his powerful acting in the recently released action-drama Subedaar. The film, which is now streaming on Amazon Prime Video, is receiving praise from all quarters; Actor Rajkumar Rao is among the latest celebrities who have praised Kapoor’s performance.

Taking to Instagram Stories, Rajkummar Rao wrote, “@anilskapoor sir, you are amazing in #Subedaar and your dedication towards your work is unmatched. Mind-blowing… Gard Uda Diye.” He also praised director Suresh Triveni and described the film as “tremendous”.

Directed by Suresh Triveni, Subedaar had its world premiere on Amazon Prime Video on March 5, 2026. Anil Kapoor plays the lead character Subedar Arjun Maurya in the film, a retired soldier who faces the challenges of ordinary life amid crime and corruption. His acting is being praised everywhere, which is being described as strong, restrained and full of emotions.

The core of the film also depicts a heart-touching relationship between a father and daughter. Radhika plays a pivotal role alongside Madan Kapoor, and Saurabh Shukla, Mona Singh, Aditya Rawal, Faisal Malik and Khushboo Sundar also play strong supporting roles. It is produced by Vikram Malhotra, Anil Kapoor and Suresh Triveni. Its screenplay is written by Triveni and Prajwal Chandrashekhar, and dialogues are written by Triveni, Saurabh Dwivedi and Chandrashekhar.
