Recently, Nita Ambani stopped by the Kamakhya Temple in Guwahati to offer prayers. Along with her mother, Purnima Dalal, Nita was spotted practising rituals and receiving blessings at the temple. Videos of her trip spread like wildfire on the internet, showing her conversing with the priests, doing prayers, and meeting people present at the temple. Despite the public attention, the outing seemed to be a quiet and spiritual one. What also caught everyone’s attention, and at least mine, was her Rani pink salwar suit.

For the temple visit, Nita Ambani chose a vibrant rani pink salwar suit. Well-known for her fondness for sarees, especially designer and handwoven ones, this time she went for a simpler yet elegant ensemble. The kurta had a round neck with a slight opening and three-quarter sleeves with very small slits. It was loosely fitted with side slits, so it was both comfortable and aesthetically pleasing. She matched it with straight pants that were slightly flared and had gold trimming at the hem.
She finished her outfit by draping the dupatta elegantly over her shoulders. The dupatta was in organza silk fabric with gold embroidery on the borders and very fine thread work scattered over the main body. She kept her jewellery to a minimum but with a sophisticated touch. Diamond earrings and a single shining ring marked her only pieces of ice-laden jewels, making her shine without being loud or extravagant.
For her face, she decided on gentle and natural effects. She let her hair down with a side-parting and opted for shaping her brows, applying a touch of mascara, a little blushing, and glossing her lips in a shade of pink. The garment made the entire appearance simple, well-groomed, and appropriate for a temple visit.
