CBSE DRQ Tier 2 City Slip 2026: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) will release the City Intimation Slip for the Direct Recruitment Quota (DRQ) Tier-2 examination on April 8, 2026. Candidates scheduled to appear for the Tier-II examination will be able to download the slip by visiting the official website, cbse.gov.in. The City Slip is issued to provide candidates with advance information regarding their examination city.

What is the City Slip, and why is it important?
CBSE has clarified that the City Intimation Slip is not the Admit Card. It merely provides information regarding the examination city so that candidates can make their travel and accommodation arrangements in advance. The Admit Card, containing complete details regarding the examination center, date, and time, will be issued at a later stage.

Examination Dates and Schedule
The CBSE DRQ Tier-2 examination will be conducted on April 18, 19, and 26, 2026.

April 18: Assistant Secretary (Morning), Accounts Officer (Afternoon)
April 19: Superintendent (Morning), Junior Translation Officer (Afternoon)
April 26: Junior Assistant (Morning), Junior Accountant (Afternoon)

A common paper will be conducted for certain academic positions, such as Assistant Professor and Assistant Director.

Important Instructions
Candidates can download their City Slip using their login credentials. The Board has also clarified that no travel allowance or DA (Dearness Allowance) will be provided for appearing in the examination.
