Digital Desk, Busted. Former Australian batsman David Warner is embroiled in a legal dispute. He has been accused of drinking and driving. Australian police arrested him, although he was later released on bail. According to media reports, Warner was stopped during a random breath test in the Maroubra area of Sydney on the evening of April 5. He tested positive and his alcohol level was later recorded at 0.104. Now he will have to appear in court in this case next month.

After the incident, Warner has returned to Pakistan, where he is captaining the Karachi Kings in the Pakistan Super League 2026. He went to Australia to spend time with his family during the break between the team’s matches. The performance of Karachi Kings has been excellent this season and the team is at the second position in the points table with three consecutive wins. The team’s next match will be against Peshawar Zalmi.
39-year-old Warner retired from international cricket in 2024, but is active in franchise cricket. He has scored more than 15,000 runs for Australia in all three formats and also led Sunrisers Hyderabad to the IPL title in 2016.
