Ranveer Singh's 'Dhurandhar 2' becomes the first Bollywood film to cross Rs 1000 crore net in India, creates history, joins 'Pushpa 2'

Aditya Dhar ’s ' Dhurandhar 2 : The Revenge' has etched its name in Indian box office history, emerging as the first Bollywood film ever to surpass a net collection of Rs 1,000 crore across all versions. With this feat, it now stands alongside ' Pushpa 2 ' and ' Baahubali 2 '. So, the Ranveer Singh starrer has become the third Indian film and the first Bollywood film to enter the Rs 1000 crore club with its net collection at the domestic box office.

The film which also stars Sanjay Dutt, R Madhavan, Arjun Rampal, Rakesh Bedi, Sara Arjun has enjoyed an exceptional run at the ticket counters since day one, maintaining remarkable momentum even without the advantage of major holiday periods. The film released on March 19, which was the occasion of Gudi Padwa and post that, there was Eid followed by the weekend. Thus, in the first few days itself, the film made the most of the holiday period. Not to mention, there was strong word of mouth after the success of the first installment which had released in December 2025. While there was positive word of mouth for 'Dhurandhar 2', there was also criticism from many. Despite that, the film has broken all records and rewritten history.
