‘Assi’, ‘O’Romeo’ to ‘Stranger Things: Tales From ’85’: 10 OTT releases in April 2026 • ‘Assi’ (April 17, Zee5)

Anubhav Sinha’s Assi dissects the harsh reality of a trauma survivor who has to undergo a long and perilous journey to ensure that justice is served. The film follows a teacher (Kani Kusruti) who becomes victim of a gang-rape. What follows is an arduous legal battle against the rapists that adds to her trauma. Taapsee essays the role of Raavi, the victim’s lawyer who refuses to back down even after major setbacks. The film goes beyond courtroom arguments.
• ‘Tu Yaa Main’ (April 10, Netflix)

Starring Adarsh Gourav and Shanaya Kapoor, this love story-cum-survival thriller is directed by Bejoy Nambiar. The film is based on a story by Himanshu Sharma. It follows two social media influencers from different backgrounds, who fall for each other.
3. ‘Mamla Legal Hai’ season 2 (April 3, Netflix)The hilarious courtroom drama is back with a second season. Ravi Kishan reprises his role of a flawed lawyer, VD Tyagi, who is now eyeing a judge’s chair. With bizarre cases coming every day in Patparganj District Court, the Netflix series promises more chaos and comedy in its next chapter.
4. ‘O’Romeo’ (April 10, Prime Video)
