In an inspiring story from Madhya Pradesh, coach Param Ashawar took a ₹10 lakh loan to support underprivileged girls of District Raisen Football Club. Defying odds, the team secured a historic qualification for Tier 2 of the Indian Women’s League, marking a breakthrough for grassroots football in the state.

Raisen (Madhya Pradesh): A 36-year-old NIS-certified coach from Raisen, Madhya Pradesh, invested his personal funds in an underprivileged girls’ football team.

Not only that, he successfully led them to qualify for Tier 2 of the Indian Women’s League (IWL).
