Udaipur, April 5 (Read): Chinese handset maker Honor is preparing to launch its new Honor 600 smartphone series soon. The lineup is expected to include two models — Honor 600 and Honor 600 Pro. The company has teased a new smartphone, which is likely to be part of this upcoming series.
The Honor 600 series could feature a triple rear camera setup. Alongside the base model, a Pro variant is also expected. These smartphones may come with a square-shaped rear camera module, similar in design to the iPhone 17 Pro Max.
Honor has created a microsite for a smartphone on its Malaysia website, which is believed to be for the Honor 600 series. Additionally, the company has shared a teaser of a smartphone on Instagram. The new series may be launched in select international markets later this month.
The microsite showcases the smartphone in an orange colour with a flat rear panel and Honor branding placed at the centre. The teaser also reveals a triple rear camera unit. Details about the official launch date and specifications are expected to be announced in the coming weeks.
Recently, the designs of the Honor 600 and Honor 600 Pro were leaked, suggesting a square-shaped rear camera module. The smartphones may feature a 6.57-inch 1.5K OLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate. They could be powered by Snapdragon 8 series chipsets and may pack a battery of up to 9,000mAh.
For photography, the Honor 600 series is expected to include a 200-megapixel primary rear camera with support for optical image stabilisation (OIS).
Last month, the company launched the Honor 600 Lite. It is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7100 Elite processor. The smartphone features a dual rear camera setup with a 108-megapixel primary sensor and a 16-megapixel front camera for selfies and video calls. It also comes with a 6.6-inch full HD+ AMOLED display and a 6,520mAh battery.
